Capra Cluck Collective
Farm Store Policies
Farm Store Policies
We’re glad you’re here! Capra Cluck Collective is a small working farm near Polson, Montana. Many of our products are grown, harvested, arranged, or prepared in small batches right here on the farm. Because we work with fresh, seasonal, and sometimes perishable products, our policies are a little different from those of a traditional retail store.
Farm Stand Pickup
Orders are currently available for pickup only at Karen’s Produce, our Farm Stand pickup location. We are not offering shipping or delivery at this time.
Orders are usually ready within 2–4 days. Pickup is by arrangement. We will contact you to agree on a pickup time; please wait for confirmation before coming to collect your order. Bring your order confirmation with you.
You have 24 hours from your agreed pickup time to collect your order. If you cannot make your scheduled pickup, contact us as soon as possible and before that 24-hour deadline. Any alternative pickup time must be confirmed with us; contacting us does not automatically extend the deadline.
If your order is not collected within 24 hours of the agreed pickup time and we have not confirmed an alternative arrangement, we may cancel the order and release the products for resale. Perishable products may need to be discarded, donated, or otherwise used. Missed-pickup orders for perishable products generally cannot be refunded if payment has already been collected.
We will do our best to accommodate a change when possible, but we cannot guarantee the condition or availability of perishable products held beyond the scheduled pickup time.
Payment at Pickup
If you select Cash at pickup at checkout, no online payment is required. The full order total is due in cash when you collect your order at Karen’s Produce.
Cash-at-pickup orders remain unpaid until we receive your payment. If an unpaid order is canceled, there is no payment to refund.
Fresh Flowers
Our flowers are grown seasonally, and every stem is a little different. Colors, sizes, varieties, and stages of bloom may naturally vary from photographs shown online.
For mixed bouquets and arrangements, photographs are representative of the overall style rather than a guarantee of exact flower varieties. We may substitute flowers based on what is blooming and at its best at the time of harvest.
Fresh flowers are perishable and are not eligible for traditional returns.
If there is a significant problem with the condition of your flowers when you receive them, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup and include a photograph. We will review the issue and, when appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Once flowers have been picked up, we cannot be responsible for damage caused by heat, freezing temperatures, lack of water, improper handling, or other conditions outside our control.
Seasonal Farm Products
Our farm products are grown and produced on a seasonal basis. Natural variation is part of buying directly from a farm.
Pumpkins, flowers, produce, eggs, honey, and other agricultural products may vary in size, shape, color, appearance, or weight. Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the usefulness or quality of the product are not considered defects.
Availability may change quickly due to weather, harvest conditions, wildlife, crop performance, or other circumstances inherent to farming.
If we are unable to fulfill an order you have already paid for, we will contact you and provide an appropriate substitution when you agree to one or refund the unavailable item.
Returns & Refunds
Because many of our products are fresh, perishable, seasonal, or made in small batches, we generally cannot accept returns simply because a customer changes their mind.
For nonperishable merchandise, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you would like to request a return. Items must be unused, unopened when applicable, and in their original condition and packaging. Return eligibility will depend on the type of product.
Perishable products, fresh flowers, food products, custom orders, personalized items, gift cards, and items marked final sale are not returnable unless they were damaged, defective, or incorrect when received.
If we made a mistake with your order, please contact us. We want the opportunity to make it right.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times after a refund is issued depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Cancellations & Custom Orders
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Standard orders may be eligible for cancellation if harvesting, arranging, preparing, or packaging has not yet begun.
Custom flower orders, event orders, special orders, and other products prepared specifically for a customer may require advance payment or a nonrefundable deposit. Cancellation terms for larger custom or event orders may be provided separately when the order is placed.
Weather & Farm Conditions
Farming happens at the mercy of Montana weather, and occasionally Mother Nature edits the schedule without asking us first.
Severe weather, wildfire conditions, road closures, crop failures, animal issues, power outages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect product availability or pickup schedules.
If we need to change or cancel an order because we cannot reasonably fulfill it, we will contact you as soon as possible and work with you on rescheduling, substitution, store credit, or a refund as appropriate.
Product Availability
Placing an item in your online cart does not reserve it. An order is confirmed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation. If you select Cash at pickup, your order is confirmed without online payment, and payment is due when you collect it. Your order confirmation does not establish a pickup appointment; we will arrange and confirm a pickup time with you.
Because we are a small seasonal farm, inventory can sometimes change between harvest and fulfillment. If an item unexpectedly becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you to discuss a substitution or refund.
Farm Visits
Order pickup takes place at Karen’s Produce and does not include a visit to the farm.
Capra Cluck Collective is a working farm and is not generally open to the public unless an event, You-Pick session, appointment, or other visit has been arranged separately. The following guidelines apply to authorized farm visits.
Please do not enter animal areas, pastures, barns, growing areas, or other parts of the property without permission.
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult during farm visits.
Please do not feed, touch, chase, enter an enclosure with, or otherwise interact with farm animals unless a member of Capra Cluck Collective has specifically indicated that it is okay to do so.
For the safety of our livestock and visitors, pets should remain at home unless we have specifically stated otherwise for an event or visit.
Farm Visit Safety
Farm conditions can include uneven ground, mud, snow, ice, gravel, farm equipment, electric fencing, animals, insects, and other normal agricultural conditions.
Please follow posted signs and any instructions provided during your visit, remain within designated customer areas, and use appropriate care while on the property.
Order Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and, when applicable, pickup or delivery information when placing an order.
Please review your order confirmation and contact us promptly if anything needs to be corrected.
